Tengwar is a writing system in Middle-earth that was created by Fëanor and is used for writing many languages, especially Quenya and Sindarin.

Tengwar is visible on the Ithildin wall, as well as the cross-guards of the weapons Acharn and Urfael. Azkâr's, however, does not have Tengwar on it, but instead the writing system Cirth.
