Monolith Productions is a Kirkland, Washington-based computer game developer, creator of both Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War. Most of their games use their proprietary game engine Lithtech.
In 2004 Warner Bros. acquired Monolith Productions, ten years after the company was founded.
