I wanted to delete Icy Graug but then I decided why delete it when I could instead recycle it and made the Architect from it. I honestly didn't know that happened and sought to not create too many pages without settling that matter first otherwise it'd be wasteful. So how do we fix the redirection issue? Also why is Architect locked? I managed to find these pics for him and yes their file names are okay.
By renaming a page to a totally different concept, you have now created a redirect that will lead people searching for Icy Graug to the Architect page which leads to Ar-Kaius...
...who is not an Icy Graug.
What I believe happened is that you created the Frost Graug page without checking to see if there was a similar page already made. The original "Icy Graug" seems to have been the same creature. I hadn't noticed it myself since I thought perhaps the Frost Graug was yet another sub-species of Graug similar to, but just different enough from, the Icy Graug.
After adding the information in stages, I think you may have happened upon the Icy Graug page, realized it was the same thing, and then copied the information to post to your page.
However, instead of alerting someone that there was an accidental duplicate of the page, you just deleted the original information then renamed the page. As I said at the beginning, the way you did this created a redirect chain that now leads to misinformation. Then after changing the name to Architect, you compounded the problem by changing the name yet again.
I again recommend you be more careful with your edits. I also ask that you slow down and have as much of the information/page complied and ready before you start posting or creating a new article. And as I stated here, I ask that you Preview your work before publishing it. As I mentioned beforehand, it cuts down on the amount of individual edits made and is easier for those following the History of the page to understand.
The reason the page was locked is because I wanted to receive a reply to know what you were doing before allowing anymore changes to be made to the page.
I redirected Icy Graug to Frost Graug. Snow Graug redirects to Frost Graug as well. The reason the redirects exist is so that it makes it easier for someone to search for something that may a different name or title.
Fr example, I kept Architect as a redirect to Ar-Kaius, in case people search for the term "architect".
We have a similar situation on the Dishonored wiki. One character, named Morris Sullivan, is the Torturer and the Royal Executioner in the game. Originally, that's all he was known as until a few of us more dedicated fans discovered his name). However, some players in the game may only know him as the Torturer or the Royal Executioner as opposed to Morris Sullivan. Therefore, if they search either of those terms, they will be led to the correct, corresponding page.
Sorry, I thought I could help out but it turns out I barely know what I am doing. I just noticed certain things weren't here and figured with my basic knowledge of making wiki pages I could help make the missing pages and perhaps make some new stuff too. I believe now I'm in over my head.
Overall, what you've added is positive, especially the new pages and pics, and they are decently detailed.
Now that I have deduced how you add new pages (in stages) I can see your pattern better and what you were trying to do. Aside from a few spelling and grammar mistakes here and there they are good, but then again which of us haven't made those mistakes in the past? :P
Categories I've always had an issue with on every wiki I go to, since everyone wants to just throw whatever seems to stick without checking for parent categories or such, which is why I am a bit sensitive about that, even on this wiki.
I apologize if I came off a bit brusque in my earlier messages. Whenever I see someone who is new to a wiki I admin on and make umpteen number of edits and starts creating a whole slew of new pages and categories in a very short period of time, I grow concerned. I've dealt with a good deal trolls on too many sites in the past.
However, you seem to want to earnestly help, so I thank you for contributions and again apologize if my previous remarks seemed as if I were attacking you. I was merely trying to keep the wiki intact.
I would ask simply that perhaps you slow down a bit with your edits. Your Ghûl Matrons edits for example are kinda all over the place.
And as you can see, I even added something to the page that I had to remove right away again. We all make mistakes.
If you're having a particularly tough time with something, or plan to do a bunch of edits all at once, maybe give a head's up so at least one of the admin knows what's going on. There are other admin besides me, but I am currently the most active.
I fixed those two pages but now I see Icy Graug and......there a way to merge the Frost Graug and Icy Graug pages into one? In the game they are called Frost Graugs. The green Graug is also called a Poison Graug in the game too.
