The Great Eagle is a type of creature mentioned in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor. They do not appear in the game, but they are mentioned by Torvin as he recounts a tale of hunting one. According to him he had tracked it to its nest, but decided not to kill it. The Drake is also said to hunt Great Eagles that try to cross into Mordor.
