Legend amongst the Uruks and Orcs of Mordor speaks of a mighty lone warrior who comes to the aid of those of Mordor's heroes in dire need... his name is Forthog.
Forthog Orc-Slayer is an ally who may show up in the midst of battle when a hero such as Talion is facing impossible odds and lend a helping hand. With his guitar-shaped axe, he will dispatch any nearby foes and then wander off in search of more orcs to slaughter. No one knows why he does this but he is feared and respected all the same and songs continue to speak of Forthog and his ever-vigilant watch. Because his appearances are infrequent, he does not show up on any area's Army loadout.
Trivia
- Forthog was created and named after Mike "Forthog" Forgey, the executive producer of Monolith who died due to cancer during the development for Shadow of War. With his passing the people working on the game wanted to remember him and immortalize Mike by making a character in his image as a way to honor him. The character lives as how the people remembered Mike; always leaping into the fray to save the game and people whenever and wherever he was most needed.
