Carchost is a location in Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, and one of the two Towers of the Teeth built by Gondor to prevent anything from leaving Mordor. It overlooks the Black Gate together with Narchost.
Trivia[]
- The name Carchost means "fang tower" in the language of the Sindar.
- It is situated on one side, some say the east (or north), of Cirith Gorgor, the Haunted Pass, on a hill that is at the extreme western end of the Ered Lithui.
- It was first referenced by name in J.R.R. Tolkien's Return of the King.
