    Talion Wraith Ability.

    June 11, 2014 by Kerbs33

So  how is it that Talion is able to have Wraith abilities when he has not lost his humanity or been under the control of Sauron? Does this not go away from the lore or was there some aspect of his Wraith ability that I was unaware of?

I remeber back in the days when i played Crash Bandicout on the PS1..then there was the Crash Bandicout 2 then 3 then Tag Team Racing but i played many over games apart from that! Going to the PS2 and playing games like Age of Empires 2, then Star Wars Episode III then The Lord of the Rings games and playing those games was what lead me to reading the books and watching the films so it set part of my future for loving LOTR and The Hobbit. I loved the PS3 and it in the later years of playing it i became familliar with one the gaming franchises that is one of my favorites to this very day! that is the Batman Arkham Games!

If i was a Orc hunter in Mordor, i would not go the whole stealthy approach to killing. My fighting style is going for upfront full on melee attacks which would start a fight instead of a instance like you see in a stealth game where the target is isolated. If i had the option to let a orc go free...i would BUT hear me out!!!

Say that i was Aragorn at Helms Deep and the main gate is under fire and in the films he and Gimli go through that back door..but i wouldn't go for a skyhigh approach! jump on top of them! can't be that painful..well there is a 30% that i will miss the bridge and fall to my death but you gotta take some risks in life :)

I got this idea after watching the gameplay walkthrough where after Ratbag stabs Orthog then all the orcs start fighting each other, i had the feeling of rioting among the orcs in parts of Mordor which gives Talion the oppurtunity to gain more minions hence building his forces behind enemy lines!

So Talion is stealthaly moving around Mordor when he hears orcs screaming at each other so Talion goes near the area to investigate where the noise is coming from when he see's a massive riot throughout the village, two different factions of orcs so Talion see's it as his oppurtunity to kill one of the leaders then dominate the other so then he controls one of the factions!

    OR!!!

Talion kills both the leaders of the two factions and he then tells the…

While there’s a lot we collectively know about Mordor, there’s quite a bit about The Dark Land left to be uncovered. Given that you’re on the verge of embarking on a massive journey in Sauron’s base of operations, we thought it’d be best to give you some additional context and little known facts to mentally prepare you for your upcoming journey.

Despite being known as a solitary ruler, Sauron has a relatively long list of allies ready to come to his aid during times of war.

    • The Easterlings of Rhûn live in the far east lands, past the Sea of Rhûn. It’s rumored that not even Gandalf had even set foot there, and while Aragorn has traveled there, nothing is known of what he did during his time in those lands.

    DLC Idea's and Titles

    March 27, 2014 by Agandaûr

Story DLC idea and possible titles for the DLC idea. For this blog i shall write about my first DLC idea.

For my theories to make a bit more sense lets just imagine that you've finished the game and Sauron is vanquished so then Gondor have reclaimed parts of Mordor that are free from Orcs and Uruks..

    1: Talions Vengance -

Ok so, Talion is wondering through a village in a part of Mordor when he is called to a secret council where they have discussed that Orcs being in other parts of Mordor is still a threat and they enlist Talion to go out to the other places in Mordor and lower the numbers of Orcs there. But when you get there, a Orc from the nemesis system that you perhaps let go and set free is in charge now of all the leigons across their…

    My endings theory

March 26, 2014 by Tim Auke Kools

If you make successful the energy bar of the Eye of Sauron empty in the fight, then for a short time it seems that Sauron is weakening. But then, he heal himself immediately. Talion and Celebrimbor realize that they can't defeat Sauron, because the destruction of the One Ring is the only way to defeat him forever. Celebrimbor know a way that he and Talion can escape from a definitive dead in Sauron's hands, with teleportation. But Celebrimbor has on that moment only enough power to teleport only one (Talion or himself). After all what Talion and Celebrimbor have experienced together in Mordor, their friendship is grown so strong. Celebrimbor choose to teleport Talion, and after that, Sauron destroy Celebrimbor, without hesitation. On the p…

I have a theory concerning Gollum and entering Barad-Dur in Shadow of Mordor, i have come up with some sort of idea of how he could appear in the game...

Talion is wandering around a camp when he sees Gollum crawling around the back of the camp so Talion runs up to Gollum and confronts him, he ties him up and interrogates him for what he is doing in Mordor. Then Gollum tells Talion about his love for The One Ring and asks if Talion knows the way to Barad-Dur, so Gollum is guiding Talion through parts of Mordor until Talion comes to a camp when they are spotted by a orc leader. (say for this example Ratbag) So Ratbag is fighting with Talion so Gollum runs away from the camp.

Then later on in the game, Gollum sees Talion in a village somewhere…

If you're at SXSW, and are watching the Wikia Qwizards presentation, you know that they've asked you to download the Palantir App to see if you can find the answer to their quiz question.  That answer can be found in this blog.

    The Answer:

A unique feature of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor is the Nemesis system. Every enemy players' face is a unique individual, differentiated by their personality, strengths and weaknesses. These enemies are shaped by their encounters with the player to create personal arch-enemies who are unique to every gameplay session. Players must out think each distinctively different enemy they encounter to infiltrate the ranks and dominate within the dynamic world that remembers and adapts to their actions and choices.

(NOTE: this is my personal opinion)

    5th place - BFME1 +2,

Now don't get me wrong these are great games and i loved playing them!

    4th place - LOTRO,

I have been playing LOTRO for a year now and i admit i like the story, the customization and the locations. just don't like the far away spawning when you die :(

3rd place - War in the North,

The problem i had with War in the North was the repetetive story and just keep repeating it over and over but i must admit the storyline of the 3 people who gave hope to the North and stood up …
