Disappointing ending - But it doesn't matter
I just finished the main storyline of Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor last night. Although I was disappointed in the boss endings, I wasn't too upset with how they finished the story. I had heard that the ending was disappointing/anti-climactic, so I wasn't really expecting much. When it was all over (I'll try to keep this spoiler free), I have to admit, I was a little disappointed - both the final boss battles were very much lacking in action, and mainly turned out to be scripted events during which I had to push a few buttons here and there to make sure I was paying attention, and the "Big" battle that came immediately before that was disappointing, mainly because I didn't kill a single one of the "tough guys", but watched as my brande…

Disapointment
Day all planned, Snacks bought in SoM all day.
Alarm goes off 8am, jump up, shower shave sh**e and bike gear on. Out to garage, wheel the bike out and grab helmet.
Phone beeps with a text arriving, nothing important. Phones in my hand so log into Game wallet to check the pre order code is live for the game. Countdown timer shows 2 days 15 hrs 23 mins 14 seconds. WTF!!!
Game release date October 3rd 2014? No NO NO NO NO. Game release date is 30 September, Im sure it is, its in my calander, WTF, have i got this wrong? no cant have! quickly check a couple of sites, release date 3rd October.

Shaddow of Mordor recall? why?
Today I went to buy Shadow of Mordor at Gamestop it didn't have midnight release party I didn't think anything of it so later on I go to Walmart, they said they have it for every system but ps3 so I go to next Walmart they say same thing. So then I just decide to buy a ps4 then I find out the game is recalled and am left with no answers of why I go to another Walmart same issue pleas inform me of why. I have been waiting for months maybe a year for this game!!!

Maybe it's not officially released yet? I don't know, but somehow I was able to launch the game shortly after midnight PST and so far the game is entirely unplayable.
First off, just as an FYI for the 3D gaming fans like me, 3D seems to not work at all in this game. My system meets all the recommended requirements, and I ran it at the recommended settings as well and 3D does not even render at all. VERY disappointing I must say!! If it were possible, I'd probably return the game at that alone as I spent a ton of money on my 3D gaming system and am a huge fan of 3D in general.

Game going to be awsome
this game looks awsome, i've played a lot of Lord of the Rings games and this looks to be the best one by far. Lord of the Rings the Two Towers and the Return of the King for Xbox and PS2 were fun but this game beats them. I'm a big Lord of the Rings/Hobbit fan.

A trip to a far-off land, discovering natural beauty on the go. It sounds like a plotline taken straight from Tolkien's work, but this time it was my very own turn. My trip took me from Belgium to Los Angeles and San Diego for Shadow of Mordor's Comic Con event. A journey I won't lightly forget any time soon.
First of all, what did I see and what did I hear? I participated in two main events. First was the Wikia Fan Express, a trainride from LA to San Diego where Shadow of Mordor was showcased. Thoughts on how the nemeses system can be used in the future
Hi there.
This is truly a remarkable step for next gen. I personally didn't think to see anything like this for at least 2 years! I am so surprised that it is also coming to previouse gen just a shame it didn't come when I was playing it :D This is something that knowone has done before because (well my guess is) it requires a lot of work but its going to pay off!! Playing safe won't get you anywere.
But what I really wanted to know was if there is no sequal (hope there is) how will the nemises system carry on as obviously Talion is a very one of a kind character that has had has the right to die taken away from him, so when he dies in game it ties in that he just respawns and time moves on. E3 2014 is behind us. Three days spent in the Los Angeles Convention Center showing Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor to gamers and press alike, have now come and gone in spectacular fashion. And, as the final day came to a close, we couldn't help but notice that our awards wall had made a good many friends.
Monolith Productions brought home 40 total awards and nominations from E3 (and counting!), making this the biggest E3 in our 20-year history. And we couldn't be more proud.

Rejected by Gondor
This idea popped up in my head a while back, but could Talion potentially be rejected by Gondor at the start of the game?
Like, after the invasion over at the Black Gate happens and Talion along with his family is slaughtered, he wakes up, wraith inside of him and all, and he tries to go back to Gondor. Only the wraith starts acting up/they found his dead body before, and is ultimately rejected by his kin aswell.
I dunno, thought it could make for a neat little moment at the start. Sort of like the way RDR started.
What are Monolith's/Warner Bros plans for the wiki?
I've been here for 2 days at best, but one thing that really surprises me is Monolith are actually involved with the Wiki and there is even a dedicated app for this. This got me thinking, what exactly is the scope of their goals for this wiki? like, how far reaching an integrated will the app be with the wiki?
Trying to gather almost every nemesis trait and its goin well
After finding about 10 Strengths and 5 Weaknesses I feel satisfied and I'm still searching through pictures and walkthroughs and variouse trailers.
I'm also very excited for the release for I have known about the game for almost as long as this wiki has been up.
